I am usually excited by scientific discoveries, especially when they mean the world is closer to finding a cure for diseases like AIDS or cancer, or new treatments or genetic code breakthroughs, that mean we understand diseases or conditions better, and why they happen. I am fascinated by the human body, how it works, and […]READ MORE
We had a lovely trip to Brighton on Saturday, and ended our day with a round of Crazy golf. Both children loved it, and much cheating and not so subtle placing of balls in the correct holes instead of hitting them went on! I think Small Boy is more likely to play hockey at school, […]READ MORE
If you read this blog regularly, or follow us on Facebook, you’ll know that Small Boy had minor procedure, under anaesthetic, last week, to have grommets inserted, because of chronic ear infections. Welcome to the Mad House. I originally started this blog, in a blur of sleep deprivation, to get my thoughts and feelings down somewhere, on parenting, second time round, with a baby that had major sleep issues (and not just normal ones) but it has grown and grown. We are now well into our fifth year at the Mad House and you will find blog posts on anything from gardening, to politics, with lots of ramblings on parenting, and also about living with food intolerances. I blog about cows milk and gluten free cooking too.
