Welcome to Spotty’s Sunday. This is the gecko corner of our blog, shared by Matthew with a little help from his mum. Spotty is our leopard gecko who has come to live with us. He is currently almost 21 weeks old.
We cleaned out Spotty’s terrarium today. My mum and dad helped me. It was getting a bit messy and he likes to poo in a corner that we can’t clean easily when he is in it, so we moved him into his temporary tank, which he found strange, but interesting and then we cleaned all his bowls, wiped down all the glass and changed the special carpet he has on the floor of his terrarium. We put it all back, and it looks really nice and clean and I think he likes it.
You can see a little video I made here, talking to Spotty and showing you his clean and tidy tank. The white stuff is his calcium supplement, which he needs to make sure he gets enough to keep him growing and strong. He licks it when he needs to.

Spotty is being looked after by my Grandad for a few weeks whilst we are on holiday. He has to feed him crickets and change his water and chat to him every day. I think he will manage all that ok.
