 The Mad House of Cats & Babies respects your privacy and we aim to comply with all regulations regarding the sharing of data and information. 

GDPR information.

Any personal data you enter onto our site will not be shared without your consent to any third party or used for commercial purposes. You will be asked for an e-mail address when commenting on any blog post on this site, this is purely for security and anti spam purposes and that e mail address will not be used to contact you or shared with anyone or used for commercial purposes. Your e-mail is not publicly visible and only your name, or user name can be seen. 

If you sign up to receive notifications when we share a new blog post, your e mail address will be stored and used. You can unsubscribe at any time from this. Your data will not be shared with anyone else or used for commercial purposes.

We have social media sharing access links on our site. This means if you click on a social media link it will take you to our social media sites on Facebook, Google +, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter. We do not store data linked to your access of those sites and we do not monitor these actions. 

Our blog is protected both by internal software and an external service and firewall which helps to make sure that no one but administrators of this blog can access the data held within this site. If our blog or site is hacked we have a service provider who will deal with any breaches and inform us if any data is accessed. We are registered with ICOS and will inform them if an incident happens where our site is breached and what steps we have taken to protect data. 

Competitions and giveaways

Your data will be stored within the system we use to make sure entries to giveaways are fair and that information is stored correctly. We use Rafflecopter for this. All data within Rafflecopter is stored for three months after the giveaway or competition has ended and then it will be deleted. NO information from Rafflecopter is shared to any third party or for commercial purposes. You will be asked for consent via e mail when we contact you if you have won, that we can share your information with the company or organisation we are partnering with, to arrange delivery of your prize or item. Any information shared directly with us, will be deleted and not stored. We never share your information without consent. 

Credit card details

The Mad House of Cats & Babies will never ask for Credit Card details and request that you do not enter it on any of the forms on The Mad House of Cats & Babies.

External Sites.

The Mad House of Cats & Babies is not responsible for the content of external internet sites. You are advised to read the privacy policy of external sites before disclosing any personal information.

Cookies

A “cookie” is a small data text file that is placed in your browser and allows The Mad House of Cats & Babies to recognize you each time you visit this site(customisation etc). Cookies themselves do not contain any personal information, and The Mad House of Cats & Babies does not use cookies to collect personal information. Cookies may also be used by 3rd party content providers such as newsfeeds.

While we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to The Mad House of Cats & Babies and you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of any passwords or other account information.
