My Sunday Photo

You may have seen our ladybird larvae a week or two ago. Now we have literally freshly metamorphosed ladybirds. I was quite chuffed to have captured this…

Taken with my HUAWEI P20 with no filters just a bit of cropping close up.

Great shot. Do their spots come later?

  2. What an exciting thing to see! Am I right in thinking it hasn’t developed its spots yet?

Hi Karen, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a baby ladybird. It looks all fresh and new. I hope it gets its spots soon as without them it looks like a nice juicy berry.
