Our week in photos – catapults, piranhas and chips?

Now that’s a catchy blog title isn’t it? Welcome to our week in photos. Snippets from the slightly crazy that our life. There’s usually cake, coffee, a little chaos and usually a grumpy cat or two. You can also find us on Instagram & Facebook.
When homework involves making a catapult? Mummy gets the materials then hands over the LSH who is an engineer. Pictures of the final project will be on the blog later this week!

When you tell your child that the best way to test pasta is to throw it at the ceiling… ?

Grumpy cat, obligatory weekly photo.

Kitchen festooned with stuff from the toddler group that I washed. The toys get very grubby. Now I have to cart to huge bags of stuff on the bus back to work.

Which responsible adult thought buying the children feather dusters was a good idea? Oh yes, that’d be me! It did buy me a bit of peace whilst I cleaner the house though and they “helped”.

Omelette. I make good ones. This was creamy goats cheese and spinach.

Unicorn style hair is the fashion for tired middle aged mothers, you know?

Making friends with a piranha. I always think they don’t look at feirce as their regulation makes them out to be.

I had a craving for fish & chips. LSH went and got them. They were yummy!

So that was our week. How was yours?

Linking up to Project 366 – a photo a day for a year…

  2. I fancy fish and chips too now. I always think piranhas look rather sinister personally. We’ve got a grumpy cat here today, he doesn’t like the rain much.

Yum to goats cheese omelettes. I’d never have thought of putting that on one.

I’m not surprised the kids like feather dusters. I love mine although it needs a blooming good wash!
