Our week in photos…Hello 2016, almost.  | Our week in photos

We’ve not shared our weekly photo update for a few weeks, but I thought I’d slip in one last one before 2016 arrives.

We had a not too busy Christmas. Just what we needed. The adults in the house, are frankly, a bit tired, and needed a break. We’ve had some nasty winter bugs, and we are all a bit worn out. Let’s not mention the lack of sleep happening either…
Here’s our Christmas week…

Christmas Day. Everyone up early, much excitement, lots of lovely presents.

Then we had a birthday. My beautiful girl is 9, and I feel a bit old and emotional.

Trip to the panto. A family tradition. We loved it! “Oh no we didn’t, oh yes we did!” ?

Blowing away the cobwebs. Fun at the play area in Kew.

Family Christmas. He might not sleep much but he makes a lovely little Christmas Elf.

Tacos are impossible to eat in a gentil and ladylike fashion…

Pink iPod for the birthday girl. I might be slightly jealous.

The husband and I have really got into the Chuck TV series. Layla is not so thrilled, can you tell.

So, with that, we wish you a Happy New Year. We will be eating cheese, drinking a little champagne, and hopefully be in bed well before midnight. Who knows, we might even get some sleep. Well, we can hope!

Looks like it was a fun time over Christmas. Love the look of those slides at Kew – somewhere that’s on my list to visit.

    Happy new year

  7. Happy belated birthday, it is all relevant but I had popped a status on FB the other day to say this year my eldest two are on the slippery slope to being 40…..yet I dont feel a day past 29 in a lot of ways.
Nice to get some down time so a quiet holiday is a good holiday.
We loved the panto we went to as well.
Happy New Year to you and yours from me and mine
