So it’s not an unknown thing that we are looking to add to our number here at the Mad House of Cats & Babies. It has been a while since I started looking at baby things, and I am having fun looking at what is out there, for both mum and baby. Some things have changed, but there are things out there I didn’t have the last two times I was pregnant that I will be keen to get my hands on if we are lucky enough to get pregnant again.
I happen to really love this BabySteps calendar.
This is a really unique thing, that would be handy for using yourself during your own pregnancy, or would make a perfect gift for someone who is pregnant. I often think we do presents at the end of pregnancy for mum and baby, just as the baby is about to arrive, but a little fun treat during pregnancy isn’t a bad thing either.
It’s cleverly designed to provide you with something to look at every day of your pregnancy either a tip, trivia or fact about pregnancy, which you scratch off to find. It comes packaged beautifully, which makes it great as a gift, but also as a special treat for yourself. The tips, facts and trivia are fun and informative, for if you are a first time parent to be, or a bit of an old hand like me, who remembers a lot but is finding that some things have changed a bit since my last pregnancy, or even for things I had forgotten.
I can’t wait to put ours into use (although I suspect the children and I will be squabbling about who gets to do the scratching off, I have had to tell them we can’t actually use it until I do have a baby growing in my tummy, much to their disappointment, hopefully it won’t be too long to wait for them) but I am also excited to be able to give away two copies of this lovely calendar to my blog readers.
If you would like to be in with a chance to win one, all you have to do is follow the instructions in the RaffleCopter link, and leave a comment on this post sharing a tip, or fun fact or something useful you learned from being pregnant or having a baby, or if you are a dad, or grandparent, something from your point of view that would be helpful to someone expecting a baby. You must leave a comment to enter. I am looking forward to lots of interesting tit-bits! You can also find more about the calendar on Facebook.
